Thank you for your purchase and order at afrikaans.org.au (Afrikaans Club Australia). If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase or have unforeseen circumstances happened, we’re here to help.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

afrikaans.org.au handles returns and processes refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation.

Digital, Online Event Bookings and Membership Refunds

All Afrikaans Club Australia specific Event Bookings and Tickets are:

  • 100% refundable 30 days before the date of the event with a 7% admin and processing fee.
  • 50% refundable 14 days before the date of the event, with a 7% admin and processing fee.
  • No refund 7 days before the date of the event.

All Third party, Non-Afrikaans Club Australia Event booking refunds, need to be discussed directly with the organisers and parties related to that event.

Membership Fees are non-refundable

Membership Fees are non-refundable and will automatically be renewed annually. It is the responsibility of each member to keep their contact details updated and manage any future payments or direct debits.

When applying for a Refund, you must email us directly with a valid and detailed reason why you request a refund. All refunds are made at the discretion of afrikaans.org.au (Afrikaans Club Australia).

Physical Goods Returns and Refunds

If you purchased physical goods and should you wish to return your order, please notify us within 14 days of receiving it with a valid reason for return. Send a return / refund email request to [email protected] with the order number and reason for return. Item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged and in original condition.

You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase with your item(s).

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Shipping

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
  • Shipping costs are non­-refundable.
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
